Description
Fillaboa Albariño
This wine comes from the renowned Fillaboa Estate. The 74-hectare vineyard lies on rolling slopes, bordering with the Tea and Miño Rivers in the south, a natural border with Portugal. This coupage includes eight of Fillaboa’s best plots, with the highest quality grapes, including the Monte Alto plot, which is destined to creating our prestigious Selección Finca Monte Alto.
The winemaking method is based on enhancing the Albariño grape’s primary aromas and the uniqueness of the “terroir”, resulting in harmonious White wines with good structure. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures, and we keep the wines on lees until bottling.
COLOR: Straw-yellow color with greenish hues, clean and bright.
AROMA: High-intensity aroma, ripe fruit, pineapple, apple, mango, and citrus fruits. Very straightforward and aromatic. Pleasant fermentation notes.
PALATE: Smooth, unctuous, well-integrated intensity, well structured. Balanced, fresh, and persistent.
Fillaboa – An Albariño full of nuances, fruity, aromatic, and fresh.
