The Champagne Mumm Rose is elaborated with grapes Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. Elegant and discreet.

The design of the Champagne Mumm Rose was inspired by the chivalry and the galantería consists in offering this champagne accompanied of a cool rose. When it opens a bottle of G.H.MUMM Brut Rosé, the lover of the wine will remain surprised in front of the discovery of a beautifully drawn rose.

Treats of a work of Léonard Foujita, a frank artist-Japanese that it was very fellow of the legendary President of the company, René Lalou. Both men shared the taste by the beautiful things as well as the same spiritual values. When René Lalou decided to look for a symbol for the G.H.Mumm Brut Rosé, of course, directed to the man whose style admired enormously.

The rose designed by Foujita in 1958, that originally decorated the neck of the bottle, loved to all when it was presented in the Festival of Cannes in 1958. Like an ornamental stamp that guarantees the authenticity of the cuvée, follows being present in the sheet of the cap of the bottle.

About the Vineyard:

Vineyards with an age of 10-15 years varying in altitude from 1,200 to 2,400 feet. Small parcels of the Tabuenca, Borja, and Pozuelo Vineyards are sourced for this wine.

Wine Production:

Like its red companion, this rosé is fermented in stainless steel and sees no oak aging, preserving the vibrantly youthful characteristics of the fruit.

Tasting Notes:

Very pretty salmon color in the glass. Loads of floral and red berry aromas with cherry, strawberry, and raspberry flavors on the palate. The creamy mouthfeel leads to hints of spice on the pleasantly tart finish.

Food Pairing:

Pairs with seafood dishes like crab salad, baked salmon, and fish tacos; or with classic ones like ham and gruyére quiche paired with a green salad, chicken-based dishes, and also goes very well with spicy Asian inspired dishes.
